Checklist
AI blog automation checklist
The AI Blog Automation Checklist helps you review topics, briefs, drafts, links, publishing order and refresh timing before automating more blog work.
What the checklist covers
1. Topic ownership
Each page should have one clear job. Check whether the topic belongs on your site, whether another page already owns it, and whether a sister site should own the narrower intent.
2. Search intent
The page should match what the visitor wants: a service, answer, checklist, guide, comparison or support page.
3. Brief quality
The brief should include audience, natural keyword phrase, page goal, internal links, claims to avoid and what the page adds beyond generic output.
4. Draft review
The draft needs a human pass for facts, examples, usefulness, voice, repetition, unsupported claims and awkward AI language.
5. Internal links
Each indexable page should have a verified incoming link source and outgoing link before it is marked ready.
6. Publishing order
Publish the pages that create trust, conversion paths and realistic long-tail support before chasing crowded head terms.
7. Refresh timing
Set a review date for pages with tool claims, search guidance, legal references, software details or dated examples.
Use it before scaling
The checklist is useful when your blog has many content ideas but no publishing order, AI output sounds polished but thin, or internal links are added too late.
